Wow two posts in the same day....

What are the chances that I actually got around to putting up two posts today? Last night was a really late night as I just finished up editing two more weddings & the two bridal sessions I shot last night. Maybe if I get some time I'll post a few from our two March weddings. Anyway here are a few from the second bridal session I did yesterday. This is Stacy, Dana our other photographer will be shooting her wedding this June. She is such a pretty girl, and the Duke Mansion is such a fun place to shoot at as there are just so many spots that have great light and make for great shots at almost anytime during the day.

At last an update...

Well as I feared, I am not doing such a great job keeping up with this. But the good news is that today I have lots of stuff to share. Yesterday I was lucky enough to get to do two bridal shoots. The first one is for one of our Indian weddings that we are shooting this year (actually this weekend). She is such a pretty girl, below are some of the out takes.

This weeks photo's

This week I decided to continue my quest to take some time 1 day a week to take some pictures for myself. I have always enjoyed seeing other peoples macro photography work... there is something I love about seeing an object that you typically would not even notice bigger then life and full of detail. Anyway after Nikons announcement of a new 105 macro lens last month & forcing myself to fight the initial urge to rush out and buy it up I decided maybe I should actually try using the 105 macro I have now, that may have been used 5 times in the last 5 years. So I dusted it off pulling it from the depths of our lens cabinet. I initially thought I would wonder around the woods behind my house to see what kind of interesting things I could find. But when I got back from the studio Amy & Belle were already outside planting flowers so instead of helping maybe I should get in the way and take some pictures? Below is what I came up with:

Belle was determined to get my attention while I was taking pictures so she decided to sit on my belly and show me how to eat a crayon.

Luckly Amy was able to quickly trade her for a cup of juice.

Photography For Fun?

In the last year or so it’s been far and few between that I have taken any time to just walk around and look at something I don't normally stop for. This past Friday I finally took some of that time and walked about 100 yards down from where our studio is located to check out an old Rail Road Shed that looks as if it could fall down any day now (Its only looked like this for the last 10 years or so). Anyway here a few photos... Hopefully I can get out and do this every week.
